Trail Workday at Cushing Conservation Area
Another successful workday at Cushing with the Seekonk Scouts! On September 22nd a crew of 10 scouts, parents, scout leaders, and a few volunteers from the community worked spreading wood chips along newly prepared trails. Thanks to all for your hard work and support!

We're kicking off Autumn once again by partnering with our good friends, the Seekonk Scouts, for a Work Day at the Cushing Conservation Area. Join us as we maintain the current trails and clear new ones. Postponed to Sunday, September 22, 2024, 10 AM.
Trail Work Continues at Cushing Conservation Area
As part of our trail development initiative, the Land Trust kicked off spring with a work day at the Cushing Conservation Area on Chestnut Street. In partnership with our friends from the Seekonk Scout Troops, we hope to continue to spread woodchips on current trails and blaze a new trail through the preserve.
A Short Stroll: Cushing Conservation Area and the Gerie Zaretsky Memorial
The 10-acre Cushing Conservation Area, located along Chestnut Street in Seekonk contains a short hiking trail by and through a field, wetland, forested glades, and a small stream and pond.
