Scout Troops 1 and 9 of Seekonk were honored with the Mary C. Wilson Community Conservation Award by the Seekonk Land Conservation Trust (SLCT) at its Annual Meeting on April 29, 2026. This annual award recognizes individuals or groups who have made outstanding contributions to the protection of natural resources and open space in Seekonk.
Our annual meeting on Wednesday April 29, was a big hit with over 75 attendees! Special thanks to our guest speaker, retired Brown professor Rob Emlen, and to the Seekonk Scout Troops, recipients of the Mary Wilson Conservation Award.
We steward over 30 properties throughout Seekonk, several of which are open for anyone to enjoy.
