Event: SLCT Annual Meeting

Please join us on Tuesday, April 16th at the Seekonk Public Library Meeting Room at 6:30 PM for our annual meeting. We are excited to announce that Don Brown, Tribe Historian of the Pokanoket, and other members of the Pokanoket Tribe will be speaking about Pokanoket traditions and their history in Seekonk and the surrounding area. They will also discuss their current farming initiative at Osamequin Farm. Our president, Tom Webb, will lead a brief business meeting highlighting our past year’s work, and the 2024 Mary Wilson Conservation Award will also be presented. All are welcome and light refreshments will be served!
